Responsibilities
- Design and conduct device characterization experiments aimed at improving the performance and scalability of quantum hardware
- Improve qubit performance through materials research, improving coherence and 2q-gate performance by reducing TLS losses
- Develop and optimize measurement protocols for non-reciprocal superconducting circuits, including isolators and parametric amplifiers
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to identify key trends guiding further development of superconducting quantum technologies
- Contribute to the development of high-fidelity qubit readout modules, integrating parametric amplifiers, isolators and other on-chip circuit elements
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate experimental results into the quantum device design cycle
Job Requirements
- MSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Research experience in quantum systems or cryogenic measurements (2+ years in Industry or Academia)
- Experience in Python programming for experiment automation
- Experience in operating superconducting circuits or similar quantum systems
- Familiarity with microwave engineering / noise reduction / thermalization techniques for quantum devices are a strong plus
- Proficient in Chinese and Englishis a strong plus
